Check Boise County 24-Hour Releases

A search for Boise County inmates released in the last 24 hours does not lead to an official same-day release feed. Boise County uses more than one custody path, including a contracted county jail, so a missing roster name cannot establish what happened. A careful Boise County 24 hour release check starts with the current serving-jail roster, then verifies the result with the custodian. Court, corrections, and notification systems can add context. They answer different questions, though. The final wording should identify the agency whose custody ended and should not imply freedom from every other system.

No Boise 24-Hour Release Feed

No official Boise County recent-release list was found. The Boise County Sheriff's Office has no identified public tab, report, or filter showing people released today. Official county minutes document a jail-housing agreement with Ada County, but that arrangement does not mean every Boise County arrestee always goes there. The sheriff may hold and process someone locally, send the person to Ada County Jail, commit the person to the Idaho Department of Correction, or deliver the person to another agency.

Ada County's online page is a current-inmate roster. It is not a Boise County 24-hour release list. The roster says its database updates every 24 hours, recent changes may not appear, and custody can be confirmed only by phone or in person. It offers no released-person tab, release date, same-day window, stated retention period, or archive. Copying names from that current list into a release list would reverse the source's meaning.

Same-day caution: An absent name does not prove release. A listed name may also remain during the roster's daily update lag. Confirm with the physical custodian.

Check Boise County Same-Day Releases

Start by identifying where Boise County sent the person. This matters because BCSO may own the arrest and transport record while Ada owns the physical booking, housing, movement, and release entry. Use a full legal name, date of birth, and any known case, incident, or booking number. Record the roster's displayed update time before drawing any conclusion.

  1. Search the official Ada County current-inmate roster. Treat a match as evidence of current Ada housing only as of the displayed refresh.
  2. Call Ada County Jail at 208-577-3000. Ask whether the person remains housed, left Ada custody, or transferred, and ask for the effective time and receiving agency if that fact is releasable.
  3. Call BCSO at 208-392-4411 to confirm whether Boise County sent the person to Ada or another holding destination. BCSO should not be asked to authenticate Ada's later release event.
  4. If the exact outcome matters, request the booking, chronological movement, and release record from the agency that physically held the person.
  5. Check iCourt or IDOC when a filed order, felony commitment, or state supervision may explain the custody change.

A named-person search has more possible branches than a recent-release check. The home page covers the full Boise County released-inmate search path when identity or custody system is uncertain.

Boise 24-Hour Record Fields

Because there is no public feed, these are fields to request and verify, not columns promised on a website. Ask for the booking sheet and photograph separately if needed because an agency may index those items apart from its release entry. Disclosure depends on whether the record exists and whether an exemption applies.

Field What it establishes
Full name, DOB, booking or case number Connects the event to the correct person and avoids merging similar names.
Admission and effective release date/time Shows when that custodian's jail episode began and ended.
Release authority or type Records bond, court order, prosecutor instruction, sentence completion, or another coded basis when present.
Movement history Shows local holding, transport, and internal custody changes.
Destination or receiving agency Separates community release from transfer to another custodian.

The Ada release or movement entry is the strongest source for the exact end of Ada custody. A filed order is stronger for legal authority. Neither should be forced to answer the other's question. When a transfer occurred, report “released from Ada County Jail to [agency]” instead of simply “released.”

Why Boise Release Results Lag

The Ada roster's 24-hour update cycle creates lag in both directions. A newly booked person may not appear yet. Someone who recently left may remain visible until the next refresh. The source itself requires telephone or in-person confirmation, so a timestamped screenshot or no-match is only a starting observation.

The relevant Ada roster screen shows the current-custody context and warning:

Ada County current-inmate roster with its update and custody confirmation notice

That interface supports an exclusionary check, not a recent-release report. Note the displayed data time, then call. If the person is absent, ask whether the name differs, whether Ada ever booked the person, and whether the outcome was release or transfer.

When Boise County Bond Posts

Ada policy permits bail at any time when bond is set and release is otherwise available. Still, payment or court posting is not the physical exit timestamp. A person under alcohol or drug influence may remain until no longer considered a risk or until a responsible adult accepts responsibility. Other holds can also delay or redirect the release.

Use precise stages. A court docket may show bond activity. The jail record shows whether staff implemented release and when. If the current roster has no match while iCourt shows bond posted, say exactly that and seek Ada confirmation. Do not convert the two observations into a completed bond release before the custodian confirms it.

No Boise Release Roster App

No Boise County or Ada County sheriff mobile app offering recent releases or released-person mugshots was identified. BCSO's official Facebook page carries episodic local news, not a complete same-day release archive. Social posts cannot supply a defined window, full population, update cadence, or retention rule.

VINELink is a separate notification service, not a sheriff app. Idaho VINE has documented IDOC coverage, while county-jail participation must be checked in the live Idaho agency selector. A VINE release alert means the reporting custodian's custody ended. It can still describe a transfer, so reconcile it with the jail movement record.

Released or Transferred From Boise

Several outcomes can remove a name from Ada's roster. A court-order release ends custody under the authority received by the jail, subject to processing and other holds. A prosecutor-instruction release should be reported only when the record uses that authority. It does not automatically mean dismissal. Time served or sentence completion should be supported by the judgment, credit calculation, and jail entry.

Transfer is different. A move to IDOC, another county, the U.S. Marshals Service, federal custody, or immigration custody ends Ada's hold but not all custody. Search IDOC when a felony commitment is plausible. An IDOC result of “In custody” after an Ada roster disappearance supports a state transfer, subject to current timestamps and agency confirmation. “In community” plus a released-to-supervision date supports supervised community placement. “Discharged” means the IDOC sentence was satisfied, which is a later and different milestone.

For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP Locator. For immigration custody, use ICE's detainee locator within its limited coverage. Each channel speaks only for its own system. If no source matches, report that release was not confirmed and submit a specific records request rather than treating silence as proof.

Request Boise Same-Day Release Records

BCSO Records requires a written, specific request and does not release record information by telephone. Provide the full name, date of birth, known case or booking number, and date range. Ask for records sufficient to show arrest, local holding, movements, departure date and time, legal authority, receiving agency, and any locally created booking photograph. Copies must be prepaid, and protected details or open-investigation material may be reviewed or withheld.

If Ada physically booked the person, submit a parallel request through ACSO's online or written process or at 7200 Barrister Drive, Boise. Ask for the booking sheet and chronological custody, movement, and release entries. ACSO advises specificity, ordinarily responds in three to ten business days, may charge, and lists its records line as 208-577-3012. Ask for electronic delivery, a cost estimate, the basis for any denial, and all reasonably separable nonexempt portions.

The wider Released Last 72 Hours check adds multi-day court and state-record reconciliation. It does not create an archive that official sources do not publish.
